Getting Around...Conveniently
Right up the road from the renowned beaches of Florida’s Gulf Coast is Laurel Hill, Florida. While the nearby coastal communities of Destin, Seaside, and Fort Walton Beach bustle with excitement and activity – vacationers, fine dining, exclusive shops – Laurel Hill is as peaceful as its name implies. A place that offers a little breathing room when you need to get away.
Heritage Plantation is located off U.S. Highway 85 in, Laurel Hill, Florida, just 45 minutes north of Destin. This area
is in the northern area of Okaloosa County, one of the fastest growing counties in the state.
Okaloosa Regional Airport (VPS) in Fort Walton Beach provides convenient commercial air access to Heritage Plantation from all parts of the country. Destin Airport (DTS) in Destin and Bob Sikes Airport (CEW) in Crestview are smaller public-use airports operated by Okaloosa County. They do not provide service to commercial airlines; however, privately owned airplanes or air taxi services fly in and out of these airports.
